Mick and Sarah have been honing their etching techniques over lockdown and their collaborative range of copper artwork is now on display at Cscape Art. Creating each piece involves a multi-step process, combining stencil techniques to protect parts of the copper while salt water and electricity are used to etch away at the background and certain details. Each one is hand-finished with acrylic paints, before being framed ready for sale. The time and care that has gone into these really shows and has resulted in some beautifully textured artwork.
