Richard Lamb – The everyday life collector

Richard Lamb has been collecting British studio pottery and 20th Century ceramics and furniture for nearly 20 years. His collection has slowly accumulated during weekly visits to car-boot sales, flea markets, charity shops and antique markets. He now has a stall in the Sail Loft Emporium at The Old Workshop in Charlestown where he is selling his collection. His pieces present a selection of studio pottery pieces from Cornwall, London and Scandinavia created during the 1960’s through to the early 1990’s. The studio potteries represented include Troika, Leaper, Carn,Tintagel, Tremaen, Tremar and Celtic from Cornwall, Briglin Pottery from London and Bernard Rooke from Suffolk. In addition there are various Scandinavian pieces from the same era and Cornish Serpentine which has been hand carved from the stone found on the Lizard Peninsula.

Richard also deals in other vintage and retro items which make his stand a very interesting mix of pieces for you to browse and purchase.
