The Craft Kiln at The Old Workshop, Charlestown is a showcase for Cornish Crafts where you can meet the makers and purchase a unique, handmade gift. Amongst the hand-made products on sale you will find wood-ware, wire sculpture, textile goods, jewellery, prints, cards, pictures, paper-cuts, felt work, ceramics, home-wares, decorative bunting, glass, soaps and skincare products……
Thrown on the wheel or hand-built from stoneware or porcelain clay – or a combination of both – Jane Suchodolski is pleased to exhibit and sell her work in the Craft Kiln at The Old Workshop in Charlestown, Cornwall.
My artwork is inspired by my Cornish upbringing and the love of my surroundings in which I live, the coastline, sea and beaches. All my work is hand-made using clay then set onto wooden plaques or box frames.
Luxury artisan natural soap, handmade in St Austell using pure oils and cocoa butter, scented with essential oils and then wrapped in handmade paper.
Wood turning Handmade in Cornwall from native and local timbers or sometimes reclaimed exotics. All pieces are turned freehand, so every piece is unique and individual.
Influenced by their love of the Art Deco Era and their surroundings here in Cornwall, Mary & Barry have over 10 years experience in designing and making stained and fused glass from their small and sometimes sunny studio in Carlyon Bay. Constantly striving to make new and exciting glass pieces, be it a small pair of earrings to a large bowl, made with every care and attention to detail.

Originally from north-west London, Denise now lives on the south coast of Cornwall, where she has retired from nursing in order to pursue her love of photography and the production of images that are just that bit different.
All our items are hand-felted, from scratch, using only the finest lambswool; then embroidered and embellished by hand.

Jim is a designer/maker based on Camborne who specialises in bespoke woodwork and laser cutting & engraving, from furniture to jewellery boxes, bookmarks to keyrings…anything is possible with a little Jimagination!
