You may be wondering why we are called The Green Shed Company, the answer is very simple it is where I do all my preparation & painting in St Austell.
I use different techniques to upcycle & enhance my furniture these include, hand stripping, sanding, painting, distressing, polishing, waxing, oiling etc. I feel that we are preserving the furniture for future generations to enjoy and protecting the environment as no more trees were cut down to make our furniture!
Much of our time is spent sourcing different and quirky items, therefore most of our pieces are unique and one off’s, which we feel makes a refreshing change from the high street.
The Green Shed Company can be found in the Craft Kiln, Charlestown, which is open daily throughout the season.
