Antiques Road Trip returns

Antiques Road Trip’ has returned to Sail Loft Emporium, a year after the celebrity version was such a success. The weather was ideal for filming, and there were also quite a few visitors milling around, so it was a great atmosphere to welcome Natasha Raskin to Charlestown.

Born in Scotland, it was Natasha’s first visit to Cornwall, and she arrived in style in a white open-top vintage sports car. She had limited funds to spend on an item for auction, but did she manage to find something she liked in the Emporium? You will find out when the programme is eventually broadcast, which may not be until January, as we are in the first episode of a new series.

A special “thankyou” to Richard Lamb for being ‘shopkeeper’, to Sue Fowler, Kay Fuller and Rose Mitchell for helping the crew and plying them with tea and biscuits, and to John Wood for waiting around to take photos, which we hope will be featured in the Cornish Guardian.
